About us

We are first and foremost, a family.
A blend of Scottish, New Zealand and English cultures. Dan Is a chef by trade and Debs is a project manager turned full time mama. We have two beautiful children who are *enter cliche* our whole world. No really, they are our greatest achievement to date and we are incredibly honoured to be their parents. We love travel, food, good wine and all the coffee. We care deeply about creating memories together, moments we can treasure.

Fun fact: We met a Swedish man on our second date who told Dan to just tell Debs he loved her already and that we would definitely get married. Neither of us were ready for that level of commitment so very awkwardly laughed it off… a year later and we were planning a trip to New Zealand for Dan to meet Debs parents! Turns out Mr Sweden was onto something.

Inspiration?

While it may surprise you if you ever meet Dan, he is the fussiest guy ever when it comes to clothes, shoes and most importantly jewellery! Though he claims he doesn’t care. When Debs set out to find him a wedding ring he would actually like she discovered there wasn’t actually a great range of rings that would fit in with Dans lifestyle. He needed a ring that he could wear as much as possible. This is actually where the silicone ring that comes with every ring we sell comes in, because as a chef anything other than silicone just posed too many risks. So then we got talking, could we create a range specific to those industries/hobbies that need to think about safety as well as rings that would satisfy the fuss pots like Dan. Those who want a ring that’s, not too heavy but has a good weight, not too modern but also not traditional, not bulky but not too slim, smart but interesting… you get the idea. Now look where we are, with a range we hope you will love as much as we do.

Our Journey so far:

It has been a wild ride so far, long evenings finding the very best suppliers, designing and creating, bringing dreams to reality. To receiving and packaging that very first order! We are a small team, and currently every order you receive is packed with love by either Dan or Debs. We are so thankful for every single one of you.
