Men's Wedding Bands in New Zealand

Forge & Lumber has Kiwi roots. The business is run by Dan and Debs, and Debs's family comes from Scotland and New Zealand, which is where many of our ring names come from. On our New Zealand site every price is in New Zealand dollars, every ring is delivered free, and returns go to our PO box in Christchurch rather than the UK.

Start with our men's wedding rings, or see the rings named for home below.

Rings with New Zealand names

  • The Matariki: Swedish meteorite set in polished tungsten, in 4mm, 6mm and 8mm, named after the star cluster whose rising marks the Māori New Year.
  • The Waka: an 8mm bevelled band in brushed black tungsten.
  • The Paua: black tungsten with a double inlay of paua shell and koa wood.
  • The Moana: a slim 4mm band with a paua shell inlay.
  • The Kura: Damascus steel with a whisky barrel oak sleeve.
  • The Tana: a faceted 4mm band in rose gold and black.

Delivery to New Zealand

Most rings are in stock and leave us as quickly as we can manage, within five business days at our busiest times. Once dispatched, delivery to New Zealand usually takes 3 to 7 business days, and you'll get a tracking number as soon as your ring ships. Any GST that applies to your order is calculated and shown at checkout.

If the size you need is out of stock, we post you a free ring sizer to confirm your size and then make your ring, which typically takes 2 to 8 weeks, or up to 12 weeks for a solid meteorite ring.

Ring sizes in New Zealand

New Zealand uses the same letter sizes as the UK, so if you know your size as a letter, that's the size to order. If you only know a US size, our ring size converter gives you the letter. Not sure at all? Choose "I don't know" in the size menu and we'll post you a free ring sizer before your ring.

For an engraved ring we check the fit first. We send metal ring sizers in the width you've chosen, in your size and one size either side. Once you confirm the one that fits, we engrave your ring and send it.

Returns and size exchanges

Returns stay in New Zealand: they go to our PO box in Christchurch, not back to the UK. You can return a ring within 30 days, and your first size exchange within 90 days is free. If you can't decide between two designs, you're welcome to order more than one in-stock ring and send back the ones you don't keep for a full refund, with no restocking fee. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply as well. Full details are in our refunds and returns policy.

Questions, answered

Do you deliver to New Zealand?

Yes. Delivery is free on every ring, and usually takes 3 to 7 business days once your ring has been dispatched.

Are your prices in New Zealand dollars?

Yes. On our New Zealand site, prices are shown and charged in NZD.

Will I pay GST or import charges?

Any GST that applies to your order is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

How do I return or exchange a ring from New Zealand?

Email info@forgeandlumber.com with your order number and we'll confirm the next steps. Returns stay in New Zealand: they go to our PO box in Christchurch, not to the UK.

Are New Zealand ring sizes the same as UK sizes?

Yes. New Zealand and the UK both use letter sizes, so a UK size R is an R in New Zealand too.

Can I have my ring engraved?

Yes, on rings with a metal interior. We send metal ring sizers first so you can confirm your size, then engrave the ring and send it, because an engraved ring can't be exchanged for another size.
